We could use help from a few people who want to take on coordinating roles (fundraising, volunteers, signs, outreach, etc.) We could also use help from people who would like to be on the ground, doing the footwork necessary to get out the vote (placing signs, handing out literature, campaigning at polling stations, etc.)

Perhaps the most important way you can help this campaign is to spread the word among your own networks.
Lisa and I have developed our Together for Education Excellence Slate’s Word of Mouth Network to equip our supporters to share about our campaign with their friends and neighbors. When you join, you will receive a one-page explainer about us, a one-paragraph script to help you know how to talk about our campaign, and one image to download, which contains a QR code linking to one site that contains everything voters need to get to know us.
Our hope is that this information will encourage our supporters to talk about us with other Carroll County voters, and that the image with QR code, in particular, will be a convenient way to help voters connect with us. (Just save the image under favorites on your phone, and you’ll be ready to whip out the QR code whenever we come up in conversation.)
Besides the Word of Mouth Network, you can also request a sign for your yard or business. Or, for an extremely simple, impactful way to help: you could like, comment, and share our campaign social media posts.
